VADEN CREEK. Vaden Creek rises one mile east of Addran in northern Hopkins County (at 33°17' N, 95°35' W) and runs northeast for ten miles to its mouth on the South Sulphur River, two miles northeast of Tira (at 33°21' N, 95°34' W). It crosses flat to rolling terrain surfaced by clay and sandy loam that supports water-tolerant hardwoods, conifers, and grasses.
