WALSH, TEXAS (San Jacinto County). Walsh was on the Houston, East and West Texas Railway between Urbana and Shepherd in southeastern San Jacinto County. The community was noted as early as 1905 and as late as 1918 on official railroad and county maps. It is no longer shown on official highway department maps or on United States Geological Survey maps, and the area appears to be deserted.
