WOKATY, TEXAS. Wokaty is a small rural community in northwestern Milam County six miles northwest of Cameron on Farm Road 485. The community, which was named for the Wokaty family, had a post office from 1900 to 1906. The population was reported as ten in the 1930s and 1940s. No further information was available.
