WAGNER CREEK. Wagner Creek rises 2½ miles northwest of Nash in eastern Bowie County (at 33°28' N, 94°10' W). Intermittent in its upper reaches, the stream flows in a southeasterly direction through Texarkana for nine miles, to its mouth on Days Creek, a half mile from the city limits (at 33°24' N, 94°03' W). The area through which the creek flows was originally heavily wooded, and for the most part the creek's banks remain so, but most of the area has been extensively developed for commercial or residential uses.
