WAGONER BRANCH.
Wagoner Branch rises just north of the city limits of Decatur
in central Wise County (at 33°14' N, 97°35' W) and flows
southeast for eight miles, through flat to rolling land surfaced
mostly with deep, fine sandy loam that supports a hardwood forest.
For most of the county's history the Wagoner Branch area has been
used as range and cropland. The creek joins the West Fork of the
Trinity River two miles north of Paradise (at 33°11' N, 97°40'
W).
