WAFER CREEK.
Wafer Creek, also known as Bourland Creek and Drennan Creek, rises
two miles southeast of Honey Grove in southeastern Fannin County
(at 33°33' N, 95°54' W) and runs southeast for nine
miles to its mouth on the North Sulphur River, one mile northwest
of Ben Franklin in extreme northern Delta County (at 33°29'
N, 95°48' W). The surrounding flat to rolling terrain is
surfaced by clay and clay and sandy loams that support water-tolerant
hardwood, oak, and juniper trees, conifers, and various grasses.
