YATASI INDIANS. The Yatasi Indians were a group of the Caddo confederacy, closely affiliated in language with the Natchitoch Indians. In order to escape Chickasaw attacks in Louisiana, some of the Yatasis took refuge with the Caddo and Nasoni Indians in Texas.
