YEGUA KNOBBS.
Yegua Knobbs (Yegua Knobs) is a small line of hills 1½ miles
south of Knobbs Springs in northwestern Lee and northeastern Bastrop
counties (at 30°20' N, 97°12' W). At an average elevation
of 750 feet above sea level, the hills rise 250 feet above Knobbs
Springs. The surrounding rolling prairie is surfaced by clay loam
that supports mesquite and grasses.
