YELLOW LAKE.
Yellow Lake is a natural body of water at the head of Yellow House
Draw ten miles southwest of Littlefield, astride the Lamb and
Hockley county border (at 33°50' N, 102°27' W). It is
three miles long; its surface is usually 2,900 feet above sea
level. It is surrounded by flat to gently sloping terrain surfaced
by sandy loam that supports grass.
