CHILILI INDIANS. The Chililis originally occupied a Tiguex pueblo of the same name in New Mexico, but, upon abandoning the village between 1669 and 1676 because of hostility of the Apaches, most of the inhabitants retired to the Tiguex villages on the Rio Grande.
