TAQUITATOME INDIANS
TAQUITATOME INDIANS. Taquitatome (Cacuitaome) is said to be an alternate name for the Chizo Indians who lived in the area covered by northeastern Chihuahua, northwestern Coahuila, and the lower Big Bend region of Trans-Pecos Texas during the seventeenth and early eighteenth centuries.
