TARACONE INDIANS
TARACONE INDIANS. The Taracone Indians, possibly a Caddoan group, was mentioned by Andrés G. Barcia Carballedo y Zúñiga in 1723 as living in East Texas, but the name is strikingly similar to Tawakoni.
