DAY, JERRY C.

DAY, JERRY C. (1818–1836). Jerry C. Day, Alamo defender and son of Jeremiah Day, was born in Missouri in 1818. In 1836 he lived near Gonzales, Texas. He was a member of the Alamo garrison during the Texas Revolution, and his father served the Texas forces as a wagoner. Day died in the battle of the Alamo on March 6, 1836.
