MCKINNEY, ROBERT

MCKINNEY, ROBERT (1809–1836). Robert McKinney, Alamo defender, was born in Tennessee in 1809. He may have been one of the volunteers who accompanied James Bowie to the Alamo in January 1836. He died in the battle of the Alamo on March 6, 1836.
