CLEVELAND, TX (AUSTIN COUNTY)
CLEVELAND, TEXAS (Austin County). Cleveland is a small rural community located in southern Austin County. The settlement began as an agricultural center during the late 1800s or early 1900s. The first population estimates were reported in the mid-1960s, when the community had one hundred residents. From the 1970s through 2000 Cleveland has consistently reported a population of seventy-eight.
