OAKLAKE, TX

OAKLAKE, TEXAS. Oaklake (Oak Lake) is on Farm Road 2491 by Oak Lake Reservoir five miles east of Waco in eastern McLennan County. In 1936 the community had two businesses, and in 1940 it had a population of forty. Oaklake's population was consistently estimated at sixty inhabitants from 1950 through 2000.
