WALSH, TX (TRAVIS COUNTY)
WALSH, TEXAS (Travis County). Walsh was on a mail route from McNeil in northern Travis County. It was named for William Walsh of Austin, who developed an orchard in the area before 1900. No evidence of the community appeared on county highway maps in the 1940s.
