ELYSIUM, TX
ELYSIUM, TEXAS. Elysium is near State Highway 71 some twelve miles west of Bastrop in western Bastrop County. It had a post office from 1896 to 1901. The community was still named on a 1981 county highway map, though no structures were shown at the site.
