LILY WHITE, TX

LILY WHITE, TEXAS. Lily White was a black community on the Missouri, Kansas and Texas line and Post Oak Road, near the site of what is now Hedwig Village in west central Harris County. At one time the rural community had a church, a school, a cemetery, and scattered dwellings.
