MYRTLE SPRINGS, TX (HENDERSON COUNTY)
MYRTLE SPRINGS, TEXAS (Henderson County). Myrtle Springs, off Farm Road 315 twelve miles from Athens in Henderson County, was established in the late 1800s. In the mid-1930s the settlement had a school and a number of houses. After World War II the school closed, and in the early 1990s only a cemetery and a few houses remained.
