SYKES, TX
SYKES, TEXAS. Sykes (Sikes), in northeastern Tom Green County, had a school with two teachers in 1931 and an average attendance of twenty in 1933. By the 1980s the school had been abandoned, and the community no longer appeared on state highway maps.
