CORNELL, TX

CORNELL, TEXAS. Cornell was near the Angelina River in northern Angelina County. The settlement was established after the Civil War. Some lumbering was done there before 1900; later most residents earned their living from farming. By 1990 only a few scattered houses remained in the area.
