KNOB, TX
KNOB, TEXAS. Knob (Knobb) was near Locker in northwestern San Saba County. The Knob post office was in the home of James R. Turner from 1887 to 1889. Turner was believed to have reported the mob activities of the so-called San Saba mob, which killed him on July 19, 1887.
