MILEY, TX

MILEY, TEXAS. Miley was in central Bastrop County. It was settled about 1847. William Nicholson of Newcastle, England, built a home called Miley Hill and taught at a small school there. The community was never large enough for population figures to be recorded or for its location to be included on county maps.
