SUMMIT, TX

SUMMIT, TEXAS. Summit was a small farming community five miles southeast of Milano in eastern Milam County. It was named for the local rising topography. The 1948 county highway map showed a church and a few scattered houses at the site. The 1988 map did not show the community. No population estimates were available.
