MOUNT ENTERPRISE MALE AND FEMALE COLLEGE
MOUNT ENTERPRISE MALE AND FEMALE COLLEGE. Mount Enterprise Male and Female College, in Mount Enterprise, southern Rusk County, was chartered in 1851. It lasted until 1855 and was sponsored by the Disciples of Christ in Texas. Its president was Charles S. Vinson (or Vinzent), an early entrepreneur of Mount Enterprise.
