BARRON FIELD

BARRON FIELD. Barron Field, also known as Taliaferro No. 3, was a World War I pilot-training field a half mile west of Everman in southeastern Tarrant County. Construction began in September 1917. The field was closed about 1921 and reverted to farm land. It was used to train Canadian pilots.
