CAMP NUECES
CAMP NUECES (La Salle County). Camp Nueces was near the Nueces River and the lower San Antonio-Laredo road in the area of present La Salle County. It served as headquarters for Gen. Alexander Somervell's Southwestern Army in December 1842.
