BLUFF CREEK (CORYELL COUNTY)
BLUFF CREEK (Coryell County). Bluff Creek rises two miles due west of Osage in eastern Coryell County (at 31°31' N, 97°37' W) and flows to the east for about twelve miles, then drains into the Middle Bosque River two miles north of Crawford in northwestern McLennan County (at 31°34' N, 97°28' W). The creek's drainage area is range and crop land of variable topography; the vegetation is mostly juniper, live oak, grasses, and chaparral, well adapted to the region's thin, stony, clay loam land surface.
