BLUFF CREEK (KNOX COUNTY)

BLUFF CREEK (Knox County). Bluff Creek rises east of the Alexander Ranch and three miles southwest of Truscott in Knox County (at 33°44' N, 99°53' W) and runs northeast for ten miles to its mouth on the North Wichita River (at 33°49' N, 99°49' W). It crosses an area of steeply to moderately sloping hills surfaced by shallow, stony, sandy and clay loams that support mesquite, oak, and grasses.
