BOGGIE CREEK
BOGGIE CREEK. Boggie Creek rises five miles northwest of Westhoff in central DeWitt County (at 29°15' N, 97°24' W) and runs southwest for five miles to its mouth on Sandies Creek, four miles east of Westhoff (at 29°11' N, 97°24' W). It crosses flat to rolling prairie surfaced by calcareous clay that supports mesquite, prairie grass, and scrub brush. The streambed is known for quicksand.
