BOGGY BRANCH (DEWITT COUNTY)

BOGGY BRANCH (DeWitt County). Boggy Branch rises seven miles south of Cuero in central DeWitt County (at 28º59' N, 97º21' W) and runs southeast for seven miles to its mouth on Five Mile Creek (at 28º56' N, 97º17' W). It traverses flat to rolling terrain surfaced by highly permeable soil that supports scrub brush and grasses.
