BREWSTER CREEK (BELL COUNTY)

BREWSTER CREEK (Bell County). Brewster Creek rises two miles northwest of Buckhorn in northern Bell County (at 31°18' N, 97°26' W) and runs southeast for 2½ miles, through northern Bell County, to its mouth on Stampede Creek (at 31°15' N, 97°26' W), a mile above the latter's juncture with the Leon River. Brewster Creek flows through nearly level to gently sloping terrain surfaced by clayey soils used predominantly for agriculture.
