BRUSHY CREEK (TRAVIS COUNTY)

BRUSHY CREEK (Travis County). Brushy Creek rises two miles east of Buda in eastern Hays County (at 30°05' N, 97°49' W) and runs southeast for fourteen miles to its mouth on Plum Creek, four miles southeast of Uhland in Caldwell County (at 29°56' N, 97°44' W). It crosses generally flat to rolling terrain with steep margins, surfaced by sandy loams that support oak, juniper, elm, and grasses.
