BRUSHY CREEK (WASHINGTON COUNTY)
BRUSHY CREEK (Washington County). Brushy Creek rises three miles southeast of Burton in southwest Washington County (at 30°08' N, 96°34' W) and runs ten miles south to its mouth on the West Fork of Mill Creek in Austin County (at 30°03' N, 96°34' W). It crosses an area of low-rolling hills and prairies surfaced by clay and sandy loam that support grasses, mesquite, and chaparral.
