BLOCK CREEK
BLOCK CREEK. Block Creek rises six miles southwest of Bankersmith in northwestern Kendall County (at 30°06' N, 98°55' W) and runs southeast for fourteen miles to its mouth on the Guadalupe River, four miles east of Comfort (at 29°59' N, 98°50' W). It crosses an area of steep slopes and benches surfaced by shallow clay loams that support juniper, live oak, mesquite, and grasses.
