CEDAR CREEK (CALDWELL COUNTY)
CEDAR CREEK (Caldwell County). Cedar Creek rises east of Mendoza in northern Caldwell County (at 30°00' N, 97°41' W) and runs east for forty miles to its mouth on the Colorado River, six miles southeast of Bastrop in Bastrop County (at 30°02' N, 97°17' W). The surrounding flat to rolling terrain is surfaced by clay and sandy loams that support hardwoods and grasses.
