CEDAR CREEK (EDWARDS COUNTY)

CEDAR CREEK (Edwards County). Cedar Creek rises a half mile east of White Mountain Road in southeastern Edwards County (at 29°52' N, 100°13' W) and runs southeast for fifteen miles to its mouth on Pulliam Creek, three miles northwest of Barksdale (at 29°45' N, 100°06' W). The stream is intermittent in its upper reaches. It crosses flat terrain with local deep and dense dissection and steep slopes and benches, surfaced by shallow, stony clay loams that support oak, juniper, and mesquite.
