COFFEE CREEK (Hopkins County). Coffee Creek rises just southeast of Como in southeastern Hopkins County (at 33°03' N, 95°27' W) and runs southwest for six miles to its mouth on Carroll Creek, just east of the Como oilfield (at 32°59' N, 95°29' W). The surrounding flat to rolling terrain is surfaced by clay and sandy loams that support water-tolerant hardwoods, conifers, and grasses.
