COLLIER CREEK

COLLIER CREEK. Collier Creek rises near Hopewell in north central Red River County (at 33°46' N, 94°59' W) and runs northeast for six miles to its mouth on the Red River, just east of Bachman Cemetery (at 33°47' N, 94°55' W). The stream is intermittent in its upper reaches. It crosses flat to gently rolling terrain with sandy and clay loam soils that support grasses and mixed hardwoods and pines.
