CROWNEST CREEK

CROWNEST CREEK. Crownest (Crows Nest) Creek rises near State Highway 208 in southern Coke County (at 31°42' N, 100°26' W) and runs southeast for eighteen miles to its mouth on the Concho River, four miles east of Harriet and seven miles southwest of Miles in northeastern Tom Green County (at 31°32' N, 100°15' W). It runs through isolated ranchland with flat terrain surfaced by clay and sandy loams that support conifers and grasses.
