CRAWFORD CREEK

CRAWFORD CREEK. Crawford Creek rises just west of Central in northwestern Angelina County (at 31°26' N, 94°49' W) and runs southwest for ten miles to its mouth on the Neches River, six miles west of Hudson (at 31°19' N, 94°54' W). It traverses flat to rolling terrain surfaced by sandy and clay loams that support water-tolerant hardwoods, conifers, and grasses.
