CAMP CREEK (HOUSTON COUNTY)
CAMP CREEK (Houston County). Camp Creek rises two miles west of Easley Cemetery in extreme northeastern Houston County (at 31°33' N, 95°13' W) and runs southeast for 6½ miles to its mouth on the Neches River, five miles north of Plain (at 31°31' N, 95°07' W). The creek is intermittent in its upper reaches. It runs across flat terrain surfaced by clay and sandy loam that supports water-tolerant hardwoods, conifers, and grasses.
