DEVIL'S FORD CREEK
DEVIL'S FORD CREEK. Devil's Ford Creek, sometimes called Devil's Fork Creek, rises six miles southeast of Pineland in southwestern Sabine County (at 31°11' N, 93°53' W) and runs west for six miles to its mouth on Sam Rayburn Reservoir, three miles south of Pineland (at 31°11' N, 94°57' W). The area through which the creek runs is nearly level to steeply sloping and lies wholly within the Sabine National Forest.
