DOE BRANCH

DOE BRANCH. Doe Branch (also known as Doe Creek) rises two miles north of Bainville in southwestern Karnes County (at 28°45' N, 97°58' W) and runs northeast for eight miles to its mouth on Escondido Creek, two miles west of Kenedy (at 28°50' N, 97°53' W). It traverses flat to rolling terrain surfaced by clay and sandy loam that supports water-tolerant hardwoods and grasses.
