DOE RUN CREEK
DOE RUN CREEK. Doe Run Creek rises five miles west of Washington-on-the-Brazos in Washington County (at 30°19' N, 96°15' W) and runs southeast for ten miles to its mouth on the Brazos River, at the Waller county line (at 30°13' N, 96°09' W). The stream, intermittent in its upper reaches, traverses flat to rolling terrain surfaced by clay and sandy loams that support hardwood forests, conifers, mesquite, brush, and grasses.
