DRY CREEK (TRAVIS COUNTY)

DRY CREEK (Travis County). Dry Creek rises four miles southeast of Manor in eastern Travis County (at 30°18' N, 97°31' W) and runs southeast for nine miles to its mouth on Wilbarger Creek, ten miles northwest of Bastrop in Bastrop County (at 30°15' N, 97°26' W). The area terrain is generally flat to rolling with steep margins, surfaced by clay and sandy loams that support hardwoods, mesquite, and grasses.
