DRY SANDY CREEK
DRY SANDY CREEK. Dry Sandy Creek rises three miles southeast of Rockdale in southeastern Milam County (at 30°39' N, 96°56' W) and runs north for six miles to its mouth on Sandy Creek, three miles southeast of Minerva (at 30°44' N, 96°57' W). It traverses generally flat to rolling terrain surfaced by clay and sandy loams that support hardwoods, scrub brush, and grasses.
