ELMIR BRANCH
ELMIR BRANCH. Elmir Branch rises four miles east of Morgan Mill in northeastern Erath County (at 32°24' N, 98°05' W) and runs southeast for four miles to its mouth on the North Paluxy River, 1½ miles west of Bluff Dale (at 32°21' N, 98°02' W). It traverses an area of steep slopes with shallow sandy soils that support juniper, scattered oak, and grasses.
