FLAT ROCK CREEK (KENDALL COUNTY)

FLAT ROCK CREEK (Kendall County). Flat Rock Creek rises seven miles north of Comfort in northwestern Kendall County (at 30°04' N, 98°54' W) and runs southeast for nine miles to its mouth on the Guadalupe River, two miles east of Comfort (at 29°58' N, 98°52' W). It traverses terrain characterized by steep slopes and benches and surfaced by clay loams that support juniper, live oak, mesquite, and grasses.
